I am Michele Koonin, LCSW, MBA, the founder and director of Affordable Online Classes. I have been a mental health professional for over 35 years. PC 977 Waiver and Procedures

Just wanted to drop a quick line to say there have been some procedures put in place to handle criminal protective order modification requests.

We can’t handle contested requests at this time and of course we don’t have anything to do with family court, or civil protective orders. If someone has a criminal protective order and a civil protective order (protecting the same person, or victim) we can request modification of the criminal order however given an existing civil order the parties still could not reunify.
